How To Install Promag Sks Scope Mount

I ordered this UTG scope mount off of Amazon.com for about $18. It is an integrated receiver cover/picatinny rail scope mount. Made out of one solid piece of steel, this mount makes for a very rigid mount. The mount also gives you the ability to still use the iron sights which is an obvious benefit. Mounting of the mount took some work with a file, but that was to be expected, and the way I see it is a bonus! I'm glad this wasn't a sloppy fitting mount, and the ability to custom fit this to my gun gives me confidence that it will hold a zero.
