Dear All, Now I have problem of No Windows 8 Charms showing apps, search is not working. I required to reset my pc to factory defaults. O.S: Windows 8, Lenovo ThinkCenter Edge m93.
I didn't created the Recovery disk because it was asking for a 16GB USB (not dvds). Now I tried to reset pc(through recovery partition),but it was showing 'recovery drive missing',even I can see it in Disk management. At least I thought to Refresh, it is showing error 'unable to refresh, choose options from Advanced' Even unable to do 'Automatic Repair'. Still I can create Recover Media but the thing is it is asking for USB to do so. I am wondering how lenovo make it like that, most of the brands will give option for DVDs (which is fine for me), even for new Lenovo I am creating DVDs as Recovery Media. @Mendy - It's already Windows 8.1, may be from that point Windows Charms, windows search not working properly.
Do you people know the Lenovo Support Email or Live Chat link? (I prefer this than Phone Call,as I am not in U.S) Even Lenovo Green Guy will be fine.

Lenovo doesn’t provide a specific software to create the recovery disk in Windows 8, but you can create it using the Advanced recovery tools option from Windows 8’s Control Panel. • • Insert the USB flash drive • Press the Windows key and X • Select Control Panel from the list • Select Recovery from the list • Select Advanced recovery tools • Select Create a recovery drive. Wait for the process to finish Personal files stored on the USB flash drive will be deleted!
Backup your files before you continue. • When the process is finished, it will ask you if you want to delete the recovery partition.
